Born out of our successful catering service, Authentic Catering, established in 2014, Authentic Island Jerk Food Truck emerged during the challenging times of the 2020 pandemic. With deep roots in Jamaica, we bring the rich flavors and spices of our homeland to every dish we serve. Ancel arrived in the USA in 2001 and has honed his culinary skills at prestigious establishments, including the Don Cesar Hotel and various five-star hotels in Jamaica and the USA. His passion lies in delighting customers with exceptional flavors and heartwarming smiles. Kerry moved to the USA in 2005 and has an extensive background in management at a financial institution. We met in 2006, married in 2008, and together, we combine our expertise to run a thriving food truck business, fulfilling our dreams and bringing authentic Caribbean cuisine to our community. Our menu features a variety of mouthwatering Caribbean dishes, from our scratch-made sauces to our expertly marinated and seasoned jerk chicken, ribs, oxtails, and curry goat.
